We are committed to ensuring students have access to a safe environment in which they can be supported to excel in the workplace and train to succeed in further education and become lifelong learners.

FAQs

There are a number of ways you can make a complaint or report an incident of non-academic misconduct. 

You can file a complaint in writing using the Student Complaint Form: Student feedback and complaints | ÌÇÐÄVlog or verbally by contacting: the Office of the Dean; or Director of the Student’s program; or a Campus Administrative Manager; or the Dean of students; or the Office of Campus Security.

There are several places both on campus and off campus that offer support. It is important to find the support that is right for you.

Admitting your behaviour is not okay takes courage. 

If people tell you that your behaviour is frightening or your family/friends are scared of you, you need help. You can change your behaviour and there are people who can help and support you.

Sexual violence effects survivors in unique ways, and therefore it can be hard to know how to support someone who has experienced sexual violence.

Entering the world of post-secondary education can be a time of growth and development. It also comes with a number of complexities and situations you may not have faced before. 

We have provided some resources to support you in managing some difficult situations on our Resources page. These include conflict management and resolution strategies, such as calling in and calling out, taking accountability, how to apologize, and boundary setting.
